Kingsley High School Recognizes Papano’s Student-Athletes of the Week

Kingsley High School is proud to recognize several outstanding students who have recently been named Papano’s Student-Athletes of the Week. These students continue to demonstrate excellence both in competition and in the classroom.

 Alivia Dear

Junior Alivia Dear is off to an impressive start on the varsity girls track team. She was part of both the first-place 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams at the Carferry Invitational and earned a runner-up finish in the 100-meter dash with a season-best time of 13.08. In addition to her success in track, Alivia was a member of Kingsley’s state championship volleyball team this past fall and maintains a 4.0 grade point average.


Braden Marsh

Senior Braden Marsh, a varsity baseball pitcher, has also been recognized for his achievements. Braden was recently named Northern Shores Conference Academic All-Conference and earned an appointment to the United States Coast Guard Academy. He is an active member of the Kingsley NJROTC program and carries a 4.19 GPA.


Eric Stark

Sophomore Eric Stark is currently competing in both varsity baseball and track and field. He was named MVP in a recent baseball game at Reed City and is part of the winning 4x100 relay team at the Rodes Relays Invitational. Eric is also a multi-sport athlete, participating in football and basketball, while maintaining a 3.73 GPA.


Grace Merchant

Junior Grace Merchant is off to an outstanding start on the varsity softball team. She currently leads the team in hits with 21, including four doubles, two triples, and one home run, while also leading the team with 13 RBIs. Grace is also a member of the Kingsley basketball program and maintains a 3.88 GPA.

Kingsley High School congratulates these student-athletes for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence both on and off the field. Their accomplishments reflect the strength and pride of the Kingsley community.
