Mrs. Bach might be a newcomer to Kingsley Schools, but she is a Northern Michigan native with more than a decade of teaching experience.
She spent the first part of her career as a teacher in Traverse City and joined Kingsley Schools as a fourth grade teacher in 2020.
Her favorite part about her job is watching her students "get excited about learning, and have that 'ah-ha!' moment."
Now, she's excited to foster more magical moments as she gets to know the entire Kingsley community.
We sat down with Mrs. Bach to get to get to know more about her.
In Her Own Words:
Hi! I'm Erin Bach. I live in Kingsley with my husband, Chris, and our two children, Nora,
(2 1/2) and Theodore (1 month), and our German shepherd, Hans. I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Science and Elementary Education. This past year, I was fortunate enough to continue my teaching career at Kingsley Area Schools. Go Stags!

What do you like to do on the weekends?
I like to spend time with my husband and our kids which often includes spending time outside or at the lake in the summer.

It would be neat to travel back to the early 1900's
What life advice do you have for your students?
Be kind. People will remember how you made them feel.

Drumroll, please...the answer is....
C! Mrs. Bach is not allergic to chocolate, in fact, she says it is her favorite dessert!
Both A & B are true.
She calls her 8-year-old, 3-legged German shepherd, Hans, her "first child."
She says her students would be surprised to know that she can, in fact, drive a Harley.
