May 2025 Student-Athletes of the Week

Congratulations to our A. Papano's Student-Athletes of the Week for May 2025. This article will be updated weekly.

Garrett Martz

Garrett is a senior catcher for the Kingsley varsity baseball team and had an outstanding week versus Harbor Springs in Northern Shores Conference play, tallying three hits and three RBIs as the Stags swept the Rams. Garrett is extremely active in the Kingsley NJROTC program and currently has all A's for the fourth quarter. 

Zack Middleton

Zack is a senior pitcher for the Kingsley varsity baseball team and has had an outstanding season for the Stags with a 6-1 record including a save, a 1.20 ERA and 63 K’s in 35 innings. Zack is also hitting .491 at the plate. He also excels in basketball while carrying a 4.115 grade point average. 

Alivia Dear, Norah Galton, Aizlyn McKinley, Emilee Robinson

May 19's SAOTW went to four female athletes accomplishing big things on the track! These four ladies were Division 3 Regional Champions in the 4x100 Meter relay with a time of 50.67 seconds as well as the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 1:47.98. Alivia, Norah, Aizlyn and Emilee will compete in the MHSAA State Finals on Saturday, May 31 at Kent City High School.
