We are so excited to announce that four Kingsley elementary students' artworks have been ranked in the top 100 pieces in the Michigan Art Education Association's annual state show!
More than 200 pieces were submitted from across the state, and 4/5 pieces that Kingsley art teacher Hannah Langley submitted were accepted.
Congratulations to:
Boaz Alpers - Top 18
Maggie Rothwell - Top 100
Sylvia Sedlacek - Top 100

The works will be displayed at the Hickman Gallery at Adrian College, and artists will be honored at a special reception on March 28.
The show is open from March 16-28 and the gallery hours are 9:00AM-5:00PM Monday through Friday.
Additionally, Maggie and Sylvia's pieces have been chosen to be displayed at the Michigan Department of Education building in Lansing for the next year. Their pieces are 2 of just 20 artworks selected from more than 200 entries!
"I am so proud of my elementary students for receiving these great honors and recognition at the state level!" said teacher Hannah Langley. "Maggie and Syliva's pieces will be on display inspiring our leaders of government for the next year! I am so excited!"
