The Kingsley Naval JROTC hosted veterans, local leaders, and community members for their annual unit inspection.

Cadets demonstrated their drill and marching abilities and performed several ceremonies. Naval Base Great Lakes area manager Master Gunnery Sergeant Jason Rampa evaluated cadets on their military skills and knowledge.
“This is our first step to being certified as a full-fledged NJROTC,” said Kingsley instructor Gunnery Sergeant Mathew Barr. “The events of the day are all run by the students and observed and graded by our Area Manager who is coming in from Chicago.”
The unit also celebrated individual cadet achievements and the program's upcoming trip to Washington D.C. to march in the National Memorial Day Parade.
➡️ They are fundraising to send every cadet to DC. If you'd like to support, visit https://app.teamfi.works/donate/e8aedb7eec4d or email mbarr@kingsleyschools.org.
